How can you change what is not working for you?

1. Each morning when you awake be aware of what you feel and think.
2. Give yourself a few minutes everyday. Be still and be conscious of what steps you are going to take in your day. Acknowledge any positive and negative thoughts or feelings.
3. Visualize the happiness, the kindness, the love and acceptance of all things.
4. Accept that life is a learning tool to advance your awareness… it is not a chain to hold you down and punish you. In the acceptance of life and the challenges facing you, you have the power to change what is not working for you by starting with how you feel and think about yourself and then about others; be it situations or other people and circumstances.
5. Be still for about five minutes until you feel the freedom in your heart. Play soothing music, take a few minutes each day to be kind to yourself before you get your day started.
6. If you feel or think you do not have the time to do this… start there ask yourself who or what is stopping you. The answer always comes back to YOU… it is your choice.
7. Take one day at a time.. one moment at a time. Even if you start with two minutes a day.. be still and find time to be kind to you. If you do not know how to be kind to yourself. Ask “What can I do right now to be kind to myself” The secret is listening to your greatest desires. Take simple steps. If you cannot do it at that particular moment. Think of a time you can do something kind for yourself and do it then. (even if it is in a few days, give yourself permission to be kind to you) Watch as this vibrational change happens…
8. What is kindness to you? What puts a smile in your heart…? start there..

When the book “Conversations with God” was first out on the shelves in the United States – In Australia I was surviving brain injury… and was told by God to write a book – I had no idea about Neil Donald Walsh’s story or his book. Having brain injury I was unable to remember what I was thinking  and started to put words on paper and let go of the outcome. The accident happened on the anniversary of my son falling into a swimming pool. He was brain dead and was kept alive on machines.. one day God spoke to me and told me of my sons fate… 11 years later God spoke to me again. This is my story from my book in a Video..

She shares with you her gift and insight when she was told while her son was on life support…. he was going to heaven.

My son drowned in 1986, 11 years later Feb 1997 on the same day at the same time I sustained brain injury. I was ready to commit suicide when God Told me to write a book.

The other day I was speaking to someone about FAITH. He basically shared with me that he just didn’t have trust in himself nor a blind faith within.  In other words faith and trust to walk in the dark and trust where he was going. In addition he was challenged with trusting his ability to make wise choices and future decisions. As we continued to chat he also said to me… “Hope isn’t enough anymore”

This triggered my past traumatic experience with suffering from brian injury. I smiled and completely related to his inner questioning and confusion. After my son drowned and died I did not lose hope. Say that again… I did not lose hope, for the simple reason God heard my prayers and deep pain. Hmmm.. you may ask but your son died. Yes, that is  true but he gave me an insight to life and shared with me what I needed to know. Frankly even though my family judged me and alienated me I had the most powerful experiences place before me. This is another story which you can continue to listen on this link. Before I go on lets look at what hope means.

• Hope is the belief that circumstances in the future will be better.
• Hope is the belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one’s life. It is the “feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best” or the act of “looking forward to with desire and reasonable confidence” or “feeling that something desired may happen”. Other definitions are “to cherish a desire with anticipation”; “to desire with expectation of obtainment”; or “to expect with confidence”.

I never lost hope until…. 11 years later!

When I was faced with traumatic brain injury after turing my neck 180 degrees in a car accident. This story is a movie in itself coming soon in my new Book “The Super Hero, into the light”

Anyway,  I lost all hope for not just life but for living. I had no desire to live, all of my positive aspirations where gone. I didn’t believe that there was anything to hang onto. Why, because at every turn I was denied support and help… even my inner voice and connection with God.. was quiet. I had not lost faith in God but instead I lost faith in people and society… in my community, with my friends which I’d lost. No one knew what to say or do… and I was lost in the chaos of my mind and brain injury, grief and pain. So how did this change? It is true Hope was not enough and my faith was now a dull light hidden in a closet buried under the worse nightmare anyone could ever imagine.

I was looking for more than hope and wishful thinking. I was looking for solutions, answers and a clear path toward healing. But it never came until one day at the cross roads of wanting to live or die… yes I was considering suicide. It was then God spoke to me and told me to write a book. At the time I was faced with disabilities that made this vision and voice seem ridiculous. Ten days later my phycologist suggested we write a book together to help others heal… What? I was still not able to live a normal day without suffering, without on going care from my husband. I didn’t understand but I started to write anyway.

Over the next ten years the answers to my questions came to me through writing not just my book but a process to listen to – I followed this journey which led me to my pathway to purpose. I am amazed when I look back. I blindly walked into my own future by listening to the deep voice within my soul. The voice of God who told me what to do every step of the way. I learned to listen to that voice clearer than ever before. Please come and visit me at my blogs and website… I have so much to share with you about life, living and death.

In memory of my dear son Lee who died over 25 years ago… I share in my blogs and website a HIGHERVISION! One that is tangible and real, one that gave me not just a life to live but purpose beyond measure.

OH! so what was the message here if you missed it? Follow your Dreams, listen to your heart… trust you. How do you do that in the lost and lonely place of fear and grief. One day at a time. Sometimes it takes one moment at at time. Be still ! listen… be still and ask, be still and do.. trust comes when you let go of all that you believe is real and tangible and let the kind voice in your soul allow God to reach you.

Why is it so many talented and famous people are unhappy? Why do their lives often end tragically? Why do these talented and amazing people get hooked on drugs? I have been asked this many times. After many years as a manager and adviser for entertainers, I witnessed more than my fair share of unhappy and successful people looking for and runny from something.

Talent is an expression of creativity, becoming a creator of beautiful expressions of Art, Music and Writing…Those expression are from deep within the heart, a voice from the soul.

So why is it that this has a dark side?

Many of us look at country music as being sentimental and often sad, not always but often deep. Many writers are inspired by their own life. Its the expression from the heart. This creative expression is the heart crying out to be heard… if you will “a voice” to let the world know what needs to be heard – the soul seeking an answer.

The beautiful thing about this experience is … the artist goes even deeper to discover a greater story line and message. In this process they dig deep and reveal to themselves hidden skeletons that often trigger unresolved emotional pain. The more creative (expressing their talent) the deeper the search. The roller coaster begins as they investigate.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Interesting question. Trust your gut instinct! There are a lot of coaches out there. Experience is very important, check out testimonials but most of all ask this question?

Do they have a clear direction in their coaching program with a process you can follow. How long that process is and what would they expect to achieve at the completion of the program.

Be ready, be prepared for transformation, freedom, empowerment and healing. Just be yourself and trust…

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My life experience… The University of life is the best teacher. The combination of life experiences I lived through that were so tragic and sad. Even though I had no mentor or family support I found my way,… I discovered some of the most valuable secrets to help not just myself but others find inner peace and wisdom. I am truly blessed.. NOW I PASS IT ON

Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I am blessed to have been able to turn pain, grief and injury into a fuel to launch my life purpose. I help to lighten the inner being of others and support their personal transition in self empowerment.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What’s your answer?
A. How do you smile and be at peace after all you have lived through? Hmmmm I always smile at this question. Because when you know where to find the answers freedom takes flight in your life. what do I mean by that…
The Secret isn’t knowing all the answers the secret is knowing where to find them! From within! – I show the process in empowering and healing your life from the insight out.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Before my friend died in 09 (Harpist Caryn Gott,) I could not visit her in the hospital… I asked to see her  in spirit…and just before she died she came to visit me in the night before she passed on,.. two days later I found out she died a few hours after my connection with her as  awoke after dreaming. What has this got to do with me loving my work? The connections with people, the intimate conversations and relationships we share during the saddest moments. Afterwards we smile and know none of us are alone. We are kindred Souls…. walking life together be it in body or spirit.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. A life coach is like a teacher. The best life coaches are those who live their teachings. We can learn life from a book but wisdom is born from walking a concious mind and heart, healing through the emotional journey. These days everyone calls themselves a life coach – ask how much experience they have and how they learned what they know and believe. A true life coach guides you through the process of life and life challenges, allowing you access to the valuable lessons made available in walking it yourself. Our job is to guide you, supporting you so you do not walk it alone.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Life some how has chosen me…people have always come to me for direction. I listened to what life was teaching me through my life challenges and passed it on. Over the past 30 years I have guided men, women and children in sports, entertainment, business and private matters of the heart.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. My Book…”Empower Your Life, Secrets from a Life Coach”

I created this book from a life time of experiences & unique life coaching programs I have used with clients for nearly 20 years. It is filled with valuable tools, short stories and inspiration for self development, balance and designed to help you discover inner truth.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Life if filled with life lessons… being a coach is a sensitive position to be in. Ask yourself, do you trust life? Do you trust and believe in yourself… and there is the beginning in becoming a great life coach. As a speaker… be real,.. talk from the heart and know your craft… talk about what you know and always be honest. People see the truth even if they cannot put their finger on it… Look people in the eye and most of all be compassionate and kind, the ego has no place in this work.
